M. A. Program

The Graduate Program in the School of Film, Media, and Theatre offers its students a multi–disciplinary curriculum designed to prepare students for media-making, research, and teaching in film and media production, curation and programming, and entrepreneurship, as well as for advanced graduate work in moving image studies on the Ph.D. level. Required core courses for the M.A. are designed to give coherence to the multi–disciplinary offerings of the program by providing an overview of the field and by introducing concepts that are common and applicable to all the areas of emphasis.
